My mission is to equip and empower medical learners to be advocates for their education so they can equip and empower patients to be advocates for their health.

MY JOURNEY

My parents are refugees, so I was raised with an expectation to find success with the resources I was given.  I chose medicine initially out of a sense of obligation.  Over time, I found my purpose and passion within this field.

In medical school, I was a late bloomer who learned a lot of lessons the hard way. I came into my own during residency and developed a drive for excellence and a passion for teaching.

I am now a pediatric gastroenterologist, and I love what I do.  My goal is to help medical learners grow by sharing lessons that I've learned (sometimes the hard way) about how to succeed in a system that is not always easy to navigate.

Medicine is not an easy career path, and I want my community to know that we are in this together.

MY LIFE

I'm married to the love of my life who happens to be a PA, so we share in medical career highs and lows.  We have two boys and a third baby boy on the way.

When I'm not practicing as a pediatric gastroenterologist, teaching or creating content, I'm spending as much time as possible with my family.  We love to eat good food (especially popsicles), swim, play with fire trucks and dinosaurs and hunt for toys at our local Goodwill.

We have an amazing group of friends who are our support system in Arizona, and we love calling this place home.

LET'S CONNECT

I'm grateful that my journey has brought me to you.  I value my community and would love to connect with you and serve you as you navigate the medical field.
